Small but astonishing Gradac is hidden between the peaks of Biokovo, falling like waterfalls along the coastline into the sea waves and the numerous plantations of olives and pine trees. The Pelješac peninsula with archipelago of Hvar, Korčula, Brač, and many other small islands is closely facing the mountain and the sea. There are well-organised boat trips to all these different islands every day.
It is not difficult to find this Heaven on Earth. It is situated half way between Split and Dubrovnik, along the Adriatic coast, at the southern part of Makarska Riviera. Not far away there is Međugorje, a famous holy place for pilgrims, as well as the remnants of the antique Narona. In the vicinity of Gradac there are beautiful lakes of Baćina, oasis of calm, offering rest and pleasure. The lakes are particularly enjoyed and adored by sports fishermen.
The mountain of Biokovo, guarding Gradac, offers numerous exciting and unforgettable adventures. It is hiding an amazing botanical garden and offers countless opportunities for hiking.
